In this course we delve into the impact of stigma and discrimination on people facing mental health challenges. We will explore the nature of stigma, examine the emotional toil it takes. We will also address prevalent misconceptions about mental health and discuss ways to confront and overcome stigma. Together, we'll identify practical steps to build confidence in speaking out against stigma.
Im the manager of the Recovery College, I am a mental health nurse so also teach our pshcoeducational courses along with our peer tutors.
