Do I have to speak in course sessions?
We would encourage students to get fully involved in their classes and interact with the session; however, we understand that it can be daunting to speak in front of others, be vulnerable and to put yourself out there and would never pressure anyone to do so. Your level of interaction and engagement in a class is up to you, we would like to think that your confidence will grow as you progress as will your engagement.
How much info do you hold about me on your database and do you share it?
We do not share your information.
We hold the details that you complete on your enrolment form on our database- your name and contact details are used for contacting you regarding your courses and other college related information. All of your other details that you supply to us are used for data collecting purposes, these details will always be used anonymously (no names or contact details will be used when collating demographic data)
How long can I attend the college for?
We do not have a limit on how many terms you can attend the college, you can continue to reenrol at the college each term. We would encourage you to move on to continue your journey but we can discuss this during an ILP where we can identify a person’s goals and how these can be achieved; we wouldn’t want a person to be “stuck” here in one place.
Is this a real college? Do I get a qualification?
We are not a mainstream college and do not offer qualifications, we offer courses that aim to empower and educate people and utilise strengths and skills. We encourage our students to seek further education after attending our courses if this is something that has been identified to be a goal of theirs. During an ILP we will be able to identify these goals and can advise on the best route for the person to take.
How much do the courses cost?
All of our courses are free of charge
